The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A walk from the car park up to poole place and back produced c.140 Sanderling along the incoming tide line, c.500 Brent Geese in the fields along with 43 Curlew, 65 Med Gull flew out of the back fields and landed on the sea, 40 Skylark, 15 Meadow Pipit and 23 Pied Wagtail. Offshore 1w Red-throated Diver and 9 Oystercatcher east.
